An original production crew jumper from Richard Lester’s 1983 superhero sequel Superman III.
This item is a royal blue crew jumper, 50% cotton and 50% polyester, with the Superman III movie title on the front and the words ‘Flying Unit 82’ on the back. It is labelled size 'Large'.
The sweatshirt is in good condition but displays signs of age in the softening and texture of the fabric as well as patches where the blue material has developed a violet hue.
When computer expert Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) is forced to Synthesise a form of Kryptonite using tar as an additional element, Superman (Christopher Reeve) is torn in two, consumed by his own dark desires, selfishnessand greed. He must overcome the effects of the Kryptonite, bring down the villainous multimillionaire Ross Webster (Robert Vaughn) and save the world again.
